ABC won't appeal Federal Court ruling that found AFP raids on public broadcaster valid | ABC News
The ABC will not appeal a federal court ruling on the validity of a police warrant used to raid its Sydney headquarters. The Australian Federal Police searched ABC staff computers last year and collected files linked to stories on allegations of unlawful killings by Australian soldiers in Afghanistan. The Federal Court last week dismissed the public broadcaster's case, ruling the AFP's warrant was valid. ABC managing director David Anderson says the decision not to appeal wasn't taken lightly.
