Australia has announced a travel ban on foreigners coming into the country from Iran. Foreign nationals coming from Iran will be forced to spend a fortnight in a third country before being allowed into Australia. The announcement comes after Queensland's chief health officer said authorities wanted to speak to up to 40 people who had contact with a Gold Coast beautician who tested positive to coronavirus after a trip to Iran, warning the state is heading towards an epidemic.
