Doctor Who’s Tom Baker drops into school (1979) | RetroFocus
One lucky group of Sydney students were paid a visit by Doctor Who star Tom Baker in February 1979. Baker was on a promotional tour of Australia when he dropped into Neutral Bay Public School. Year five and six students asked Baker why Doctor Who doesn’t film in Australia, whether he’s scared of monsters and why he never seems to trip over that long scarf. The ABC’s Behind the News filmed this segment on 12th February 1979.
